Story of the Bible
October 2019 - February 2024
A collaboration between York University professors Dr. Tim McNeese, Dr. Frank Wheeler and Dr. Terry Seufferlein, this exhibit told the story of the Bible as it morphed from scroll to hand-copied codices to mass-produced print editions. The display included original leaves from a 1611 King James Bible and a 1656 Biblica Sacra Polyglot (an early multilingual Bible), Dead Sea Scrolls reproductions, and other ancient manuscripts. Some portions have been retained for an expanded permanent Bible display.
